Christie O'Carroll - Assistant Director

Christie is a graduate of the RSAMD's Contemporary Theatre Practice course.  In 2007, she won the Bruce Millar Award for Directing.  She has directed The Glasgow Girls at the Edge Gym, 28 Ways to Kill a Party at the RSAMD, A Load of Rubbish at East Kilbride Arts Centre, The Boys at Royal National Theatre in London, The Foolish Young Man in the Camden Roundhouse and Bus Stops in Rutherglen Town Hall.

She performed in Davey Anderson's play Rupture at The Traverse Theatre.

She is a Lecturer in Performing Arts at Motherwell College and has taught at RSAMD DramaWorks, Toonspeak Young People's Theare, the Mandy McHarg School of Dance and was formerly an Assistant Arts Development Officer at South Lanarkshire Council.

Christie trains with the SPARTAN Ensemble.
